Subject: HELP with MIDI adapter
Hi all,
Last week I posted a question about why my MIDI adapter is not working from
either the in or out ports. I got a lot of responses but nothing helped. Most
everyone suggested that I needed to fool around with my control panels in
windows until it worked. I tried all that. I lot of people suggested that
my Korg M1 is not functioniing correctly. That checked out as well.
I finally got hold of some DOS based MIDI programs to try testing out the
GUS MIDI adapter without worrying about windows drivers. I got these programs
off of epas.
None of them worked!
So here is my problem. When I play the MIDI keyboard, the red LED for the MIDI
port on the MIDI adapter flickers as MIDI data is sent to it, but the software
shows me absolutely no indication that the data is getting to it. When I
attempt to send any kind of MIDI data out fromt he software, the red LED above
the MIDI out port does not lite up at all.
Can ANYONE pleeeeeeze help me. I have a new GUS MIDI adapter, a new Cubase
sequencer and a new 16 track recording studio that is just sitting here lifeless
until I get this problem solved.
Thanks in advance

Subject: looking for a music sheet printing program
Hi,
Does anyone know of any program that can print out music sheets given a mie? That's the only ability that I need, so I don't need a full-fledged
sequencer. I don't think recording session has this, and the demo version of
CakeWalk Pro 2.0 has it disabled (thanks for trying Francois).
I could have sworn somebody mentioned a shareware program of this sort once that
was able to extract the notation sheets from a midi file and print them. Please
respond to me directly as well as posting here (just in case someone else
wants to know) because I'm not subscribed to this digest, and this is probably the only question I'll have for a while.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Nemo De Furia.

I just phoned them on the 800 number (99-PIANO). Their non-800 voice number
is 206-881-9797 (US). FAX is 206-881-9664.
